The Mailbox Tab has multiple Metrics about all the Mailboxes in the O365 environment.

About the Office 365 Mailbox tab

The Mailboxes tab features a table that contains every currently configured Office 365 mailbox in the VitalSigns environment.

The table has the following columns:

  • Display Name
  • Sam Account Name
  • Email Address
  • Warning Quota (MB)
  • Prohibit Send Quota (MB)
  • Prohibit Send Receive Quota (MB)
  • Is Active
  • Mailbox Type
  • Total Item Size (MB)
  • Total Item Count
  • Mailbox Database
  • Forwarding SMTP Address
  • Forwarding Address
  • Deliver To Mailbox and Forward
  • Forward Rule
  • Forward as Attachment Rule
  • Last Logon
  • Days Since Last Logon

Display Name is the name of the mailbox's principle user. Sam Account Name is the username for the mailbox. Email address is the O365 email address that is assigned to the mailbox. Warning Quota (MB) is the size of email that the mailbox receives a warning for. Prohibit Send Quota (MB) is the size of an email that the mailbox is prohibited from sending. Prohibit Send Receive Quota (MB) is the size of an email that a mailbox is prohibited from sending, and receiving. Is Active denotes if the mailbox is active or not. Mailbox Type displays the mailbox's type. (e.g. SharedMailbox, UserMailbox, etc.) Total Item Size (MB) is the total size of the mailbox's mail file. Total Item Count is the numerical amount of items in the mailbox's mail file. Mailbox Database is the database that the mailbox is stored. Forwarding SMTP Address shows whether or not the mailbox has an SMTP forward rule, as well as the address it is being forwarded to if so. Forwarding Address shows whether or not the mailbox is forwarding mail , and what address it is being forwarded to if so. Deliver To Mailbox and Forward is a checkbox that shows whether or not mail is delivered, then forwarded. Forward Rule shows any Forward Rules if there is any for the mailbox. Forward as Attachment Rule shows any Forward as Attachment Rules if there is any for the mailbox. Last Logon shows the last day that the mailbox was logged into. Days Since Last Logon is a calculated number based on when the mailbox was last logged into.


All Key Metrics can be exported to Excel with the "Export to Excel" button located at the top of every Key Metric page.
