Domino Server Task Definitions
Navigate to: Configurator » IBM Domino Settings » Server Task Definitions tab
You can monitor Domino server tasks to determine if a task is or is not running on a specific Domino server. In addition, you can select to apply an action (i.e. load/quit HTTP) if a task is or is not running.Â
Add New Server Task
- Click the Add button.
- Enter a name to define the Server Task.
Enter the correct settings for the the Server Task: Idle String, Console String, and Load Command.
To obtain the correct settings, issue a "show stat server.task" command in the Domino server console window.
- The text immediately following the '=' sign is the Console String.
- The text following the Console String is the Idle String.
Select a Retry Count.
If you choose to enable Hang Detection, select a Maximum Run Time.
Hang Detection is optional and may not be appropriate for all tasks.
- Click the Save button.
Edit Existing Server Task
- Select the Server Task you wish to make changes to.
- Click the Edit button.
- Make any changes to the Server Task as needed.
- Click the Save button to save the changes.
Delete Existing Server Task
- Select the Server Task you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete button.
- Click OK to confirm you would like to delete the Server Task.
