Log File Scanning

Navigate to: Configurator » IBM Domino Settings » Log File Scanning tab


Add New Log File Scan

  1. Click the Add button.
  2. Enter a name to define the Event Definition.
  3. Select a keyword to use or create a new one.
  4. Select the server(s) with the log files you would like to scan.
  5. Click the Save button.

Creating a New Keyword

  1. Click the Add button.
  2. Enter the keyword you would like to scan for.
  3. Enter any words you would like to exclude from the scan.
  4. You can select whether or not the keyword will:
    1. Be limited to one notification per day.
    2. Will be scanned for in log.nsf.
    3. Will be scanned for in AgentLog.nsf.






Edit Existing Log File Scan

  1. Select the Log File Scan you wish to make changes to.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. Here you may Add or Edit the Keyword being used.
  4. Edit the servers the Log Files Scan applies to if needed.
  5. Click the Save button to save the changes.



Delete Log File Scan

  1. Select the Log File Scan you wish to delete.
  2. Click the Delete button.
  3. Click OK to confirm you would like to delete the Log File Scan.
