Setup Sametime Server*

You can setup a Sametime server to gather a variety of Sametime and server related statistics.


Requirements to collect Sametime Statistics

  • TWO dedicated test user accounts created in Domino address book (no mail file required).
  • Explicitly list ONE user in stconfig.nsf as a Person with Reader (or above) rights on the server to be monitored.
  • User 1 must be a member of the SametimeMonitor role.

User accounts must be test users and not in use by any other user.

  1. Go to Setup & Security » Maintain Servers.
  2. Click the New () button.
  3. Enter the information associated with the Sametime server.
  4. Select Sametime from the Server Type drop down list.
  5. Click the Update () button to save the server.
The Sametime server will now be listed in the IBM Sametime category under Servers & Devices » IBM Sametime.
