Monitoring Mail

VitalSigns monitors "mail" in several ways.  IBM Domino and Microsoft Exchange servers are monitored in their entirety, but there are also times when you may want to monitor something as simple as a mail appliance to ensure that it is running SMTP or other protocol.  VitalSigns has the ability to test many protocols natively.  It also offers things such as mail probes (sending a test message) and heat maps (which test the latency between servers).
