VitalSigns is a web based software application (client-server software application) and can be accessed from any computer via a browser window.
VitalSigns is divided into two components: The Configurator and The Dashboard.
The Configurator
The Configurator is typically managed by the lead administrator and is the view where all the administrative functions and configurations are stored.
These configurations include, but are not limited to:
- Importing servers
- Deleting servers
- Thresholds
- Managing alerts
- VitalSigns user accounts
The Dashboard
The Dashboard is where the information/data about your environment is displayed and is for everybody else in the organization. From the HelpDesk team, managers, and to power users they can all be kept up-to-date with the latest status and information in their IT environment from the VitalSigns Dashboard.
