Test alerts are designed to allow you to validate your Alert Definition settings.

To create a test alert, please ensure that your test selections are the same as at least one of your alert definitions.
  1. After you have created an alert definition, click Send Test Alert.
  2. Select a location, Device Type, Event Type, and Device Name.
  3. Click Create.
  4. You should receive a test alert within minutes.
