Import Websphere Servers

Step 1 (Figure 1)

  • Go to Setup & Security -> Import Websphere Servers
  • Click the New button
  • Enter the Name, Hostname, Connection Type, and port number for the cell
  • You can enable WebSphere global security by selecting the checkbox () to the right of Global Security
  • You can select existing credentials from the Credentials drop down list (please see Creating General Credentials) or you can enter new credentials by selecting the Add Credentials button
  • Enter a value in the Realm textbox
  • Click Save to save the cell

Step 2 (Figure 2)

  • Click the Refresh () button under Refresh Nodes to return the Nodes
  • Select the checkbox () next to the desired Node(s) to import and click next

Step 3 (Figure 3)

  • Select the desired monitoring settings that will apply to the server(s) (Note: These settings will apply to all servers that were imported in the previous step)
  • Click Done when finished
