Step 1 (Figure 2-26)
- Go to Alerts -> Alert Settings
- Select the Recurring Alerting tab
- Select the checkbox
to the left of Alert about recurrences only
- Enter a value for the Number of recurrences (Note: this value is the number of times the event must fail before VitalSigns alerts you of a problem)
- Select the events/alerts for which you want to restrict alerts
- Click OK to save the changes
